DURHAM, NC – September 14, 2020
Bio Products Laboratory (BPL) USA, a leading manufacturer of plasma-derived protein therapies with US headquarters in Durham, North Carolina, and worldwide headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Elstree, UK, has been named one of the Best Places to Work by Triangle Business Journal. This award acknowledges BPL USA’s achievements in creating an environment that demonstrates exceptional teamwork, leadership, and employee engagement.
BPL USA was selected among 50 companies for the award based on employee survey results that examined communication and resources, manager effectiveness, personal engagement, individual needs, team dynamics, and trust in leadership. Eligible companies were required to have at least 10 employees in the 16 counties that make up the Triangle region.
“It’s an honor to be recognized as one of the Triangle’s best places to work, especially amid new challenges to the workplace in 2020,” said Bob Rossilli, US President and Chief Commercial Officer, Global Business at BPL. “We’re proud of the unique culture we’ve built here from the ground up. We put our people first, treat each other with respect and emphasize a commitment to working hard or hustling on behalf of the patients who rely on our products.”
This award is an extension of BPL’s increasingly positive impact in the rare diseases space and the Triangle business community. During the past five years, BPL USA has grown an impressive 800% fueled by an unrelenting commitment to serving the patients who rely on plasma-based products. By building a culture of hustle, integrity and teamwork, BPL USA has reliably met the needs of patients and distributers to provide access to high quality medicines. As the U.S. continues to undergo a national health crisis, BPL USA is looking to the future to provide reliable and innovative patient care.
